Fayla Ott presented the workshop “The Deep South as a Character: Crafting Stories Steeped in Culture and Atmosphere” at the Appalachian Wordfest in Sevierville, TN, a regional literary festival. Attendees explored how culture, landscape, history, and voice shape storytelling in Southern fiction. Following the sessions, readers visited Fayla’s table for book signings and conversation.
